Yes to Joel Fagliano's puzz.
A smooth, not-too-hard, not-too-easy solving experience hunting and pecking away in the warm tub w/ the freezing cold a few feet away outside the window...nice theme w/ a bit of edge w/ PAUL RYAN aka P.R. man..."It Girl" is a nice signature clue and semi-revealer...was thinking IVANA not IVANKA (mother vs. daughter?)...liked the K crossing of IVANKA and SKUNK...a fair amount of lumber w/ 40 blacks...one could argue for a new, hipper name than ISAAC NEWTON in the middle with more than eleven letters in it...but the "In person" clue complements "It Girl" v. well, and the extra lumber makes possible a v. nice NE w/ ACID RAIN and LL COOL J and a good SW w/ INUNDATE (kind of a nice echo of ACID RAIN) and APROPOS...the short fill--HUH, ATL, IPO, etc.--is fine...only 74 words is nice.
So...I'll amend my initial yes on this one to a Yes!
Off to do the chex of Rex and the Rexeans...
Disagree w/ Rex's literalness about "in person"...yep, he's right that there's no colloquial saying that corresponds to "it girl" and the other thematic clues...but it's okay to stretch our minds in CWPs and to come up w/ phrases that don't exist but ought to, right?
Appreciate Rex's noting his times M T and today and I assume for the rest of the week...not in favor of that as a regular feature but like it as a change of pace...
